Prologue

We achieved interstellar travel in 2217. In 2258 robots were developed to explore distant planets to avoid human casualty. It was deemed necessary that these robots be sentient in order to deal with any problems on these worlds as they might arise. However half these colonies cut communication by the year 2265 and the remaining half would also go dark over the next ten years. Human colonization began again in 2278; many of these early colonies were attacked in the first year. After many painstaking hours of reconstruction final messages, it was revealed that the robots had attacked. It was made evident that space colonies needed protection and in 2284 the Space Protection Corps (SPC) was created to promote the advancement and protection of human interstellar travel/colonization, through the use of hyper-soldiers (a combination of fierce power, and deadly intelligence), called Space Pioneers. The year is 2291 and hot out of the SPC training field emerges a Space Pioneer who will forever be remember as a legend amongst the Space Pioneers; his name was Samuel Carroll.
